The Award Ceremony of the 2nd Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition sponsored by the Administration Committee of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone and undertaken by the Incubator Innovation Alliance of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, the SME Service Center of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone and Beijing Yizhuang International Investment Development Co., Ltd was held in Beijing Yizhuang International Investment Development Co., Ltd on the afternoon of October 12. Nearly one hundred persons from Beijing attended this Award Ceremony, where Zhang Mei, General Manager of Beijing Wanjie Medical Device Co., Ltd, was also invited to attend this Award Ceremony.

679 projects were reported for participating in this Competition, covering seven strategic emerging industry fields such as electronic information, advanced manufacturing and biological medicine. After the competition training for nearly 4 months and the level-by-level selection by 12 rounds of re-competition, the final competition was kicked off in the Global Road Show Center of the Development Zone on September 21. On that day, after the splendid exhibition and fierce rivalry of 92 projects promoted to the final competition for nearly 10 hours, the top 20 were officially announced, where Beijing Wanjie Medical Device Co., Ltd was awarded the third prize. The results of this Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the decision of Excellence Award were announced at the Award Ceremony, and the attending leader presented the award to Beijing Wanjie Medical Device Co., Ltd on the site.

It was reported that this Competition centered on the industry terminal represented by more than 80 "World Top 500" enterprises from Yizhuang, Beijing, and the competition activities were promoted on the industrial resource platform, forming the platform of cooperation between the industrial innovation resources and the sci-tech entrepreneurship projects and of opportunity for the industrial capital and the sci-tech talents. As a significant event with the "six-in-one" strategy to create the "Five Innovation Centers" in Beijing  Economic and Technological Development Zone, this Competition has moved from the simple innovation and entrepreneurship organization towards the new stage of establishment of industrial innovation ecosystem.
